CLEVELANDER / 1020 Ocean Drive, South Beach / 305-532-4006

The heart and soul of the South Beach Pool Bar Scene is the Clevelander Hotel, a retro landmark on Ocean Drive where Spring Break Memories get made 365 days and nights a year. Recently refurbished to include indoor and outdoor sports bars, sun decks and rooftop lounges, the iconic property is a Must See Spot for any South Beach vacation. There are live musical guests nightly, buxom shot girls pouring tequila, and a feeling that at any moment a wet t-shirt contest is about to begin. Welcome to Miami!

THE FLAT / 500 South Pointe Drive, South Beach / 305-351-3528

A brand new hotspot designed to dazzle South Beach’s late night cocktail crowd is called The Flat, a place to go before or after nightclubbing. Taking over the former Cozy Club, the drinks and light bites lounge features over 40 custom cocktails crafted by house mixologist Egor Polonskiy to enjoy with a dozen salty & sweet snacks by Executive Chef Giuseppe “Beppe” Galazzi. South Beach Industry Insider Cedric Adegnika (who used to wield the velvet ropes at SET) conceived the Euro-Style bar as the new place to mingle with interested singles.

HAVEN GASTROLOUNGE / 1237 Lincoln Road, South Beach / 305-987-8885

Lincoln Road’s hottest drink spot has wrap around video walls which take the Monday Night Football experience (and the NBA Playoffs) to an entirely new level! Providing a dazzling visual array the rest of the night, Haven starts out as a cozy happy hour spot and evolves into a Hi-Fi Lounge as the hour grows later. Executive Chef Todd Erickson creates innovative small plates to pair with your drinks including raw & cooked fresh seafood, skewers of meat, fish and veggies, and so much more!

MAC’S CLUB DEUCE / 222 14 Street, South Beach / 305-531-6200

Because you can’t have a light without something dark to contrast it, South Beach’s pastel brightness has a black sheep in the neighborhood that’s called Mac’s Club Deuce – the divest of dive bars in town. Serving cheap drinks to local barflies, celebrities and Tony Bourdain, the club attracts a who’s who of late night tipplers who wouldn’t dream of heading home without at least one for the road at the Deuce.

ABBEY BREWING COMPANY / 1115 16 Street, South Beach / 305-538-8110

South Beach’s favorite craft brewery is as far from the sunny surf as most drinkers ever get. Located on the residential west side of town, this humble tavern makes damn good beer! Brewmaster Raymnd Rigazio serves four house recipes and ten guest drafts from 1pm-5am every night of the year. Follow his Twitter & Facebook feeds to hear about exciting limited edition ales and free hot dogs Sundays. Happy Hour pricing and Whiskey Wednesdays create a convivial atmosphere all day long.

PURDY LOUNGE / 1811 Purdy Avenue, South Beach / 305-531-4622

Locals love the Dirty Purdy, a west side surfer bar with throwback specials like Ladies nights (free drinks Thursdays for girls), Reggae Mondays, and a notorious Drunken Spelling Bee! Chocolate Sundays feature shots of Jagermeister and a challenge to spell correctly before the cheering crowd while drinking, drinking… and drinking some more.

MONTY’S AT THE MARINA / 300 Alton Road, South Beach / 305-672-1148

South Beach’s favorite tiki bar kicks off a weekday Happy Hour from 4-8pm with drink and raw bar specials served overlooking the swimming pool and the boats docked on Biscayne Bay. While few SoBe hangouts offer that laid back Jimmy Buffet vibe, it’s definitely possible to feel a little like a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” at this popular sailor’s hangout.

CAFEINA WYNWOOD LOUNGE / 297 NW 23 Street, Miami / 305-438-0792

One of the nicest benefits from Wynwood’s emerging art scene is the unique variety of cocktail lounges that have opened to provide refuge for the district’s thirsty hipsters. Cafeina is a swank speakeasy near all the coolest galleries that is part lounge and part tapas-style restaurant. Enjoy both an indoor and an outdoor party zone offering happy hour pricing Thursdays & Fridays from 5-8pm.

WOOD TAVERN / 2531 NW Second Avenue, Miami / 305-748-2828

Local, laid back and always welcoming, Wood Lounge serves as the heart of the burgeoning arts district with friendly servers, fair prices and a secret taco bar in the garden out back. Cesar Morales was looking for real estate to open his own design studio and ended up hosting a funky block party nearly every night of the week. Stop in for Taco Tuesdays, Backyard Boogie or Gringo Bingo and see where all the cool kids are drinking.

THE HOXTON / 1111 SW First Avenue, Miami / 305-667-8466
